Working Together Project was a series of workshops involving people with disability from culturally and linguistically diverse (CALD) and non-English speaking (NES) background,
their families, carers, and support workers.

The project that aimed to:
-improve the understanding of people with disability of their right as consumers of disability support services and help develop their capacity to speak up if they feel unsafe or unhappy
with the quality of services/support they receive
-educate families/carers and support workers of the rights of people with disability and enhance their understanding of cultural competency
-develop the guidelines for providing support to, for, and with people with disability from CALD/NES background.2026 Census Consultation Submission FINAL 28 April 2023
