NDIS Appeals and Reviews
At MDAA, we support Australians with disabilities, their families, and carers in navigating the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS). Managed by the National Disability Insurance Agency (NDIA), the NDIS provides essential support, and we are here to help you make the most of it.
We can assist you in identifying your needs and goals for your NDIS plan. We help you understand your NDIS rights and responsibilities, ensuring you make informed decisions that positively impact your life. If you disagree with a NDIA decision, we provide support through the review and appeals process. MDAA can assist you in applying for this review.
If you are not satisfied with the outcome of the internal review, you can appeal through the Administrative Appeals Tribunal (AAT). These external merits review process allows you to challenge the internal review decision.
Our NDIS Appeals and Reviews Officers can support you throughout the AAT process by:
- Assisting with the internal review of your plan
- Helping you appeal an external review decision
- Assisting with your AAT application
- Attending AAT conferences and hearings with you
- Supporting you in presenting your case before the AAT
