Individual Advocacy
At MDAA, we help people from non-English speaking backgrounds with disabilities, and their families and carers, in NSW to know and protect their rights. Our services are provided free of charge.
What is Advocacy? Advocacy means promoting, protecting, and securing someone’s rights. Our Advocates at MDAA will help you make sure your rights are recognised and respected. A CBSO will stand beside you, support you in making your own decisions, and help you get what you need. We assist with issues related to NDIS, housing, Centrelink, school, work, and disability services.
When you contact MDAA, an Advocate will listen to your concerns and the support you need. Together, you will make a plan to address your issues. If you need an interpreter, we will arrange one for you.
Our services are free. We are here to support you in achieving your rights and improving your life.
